Time for some recruitment action.

So – we need an intern. Mainly for some hardcore blog-, email-hustling but also for general assistance at the office and helping out with mail orders and stuff. Excellent chance to learn stuff from various music biz sectors –  you’d be mainly covering management and label related areas but you know, there’s always a chance you end up hanging out with superstars on a boat in the middle of Pacific ocean making awesome hookups with who knows who! I mean, who can tell what tomorrow brings in this business, right?

 

So preferably, you:

-Have passion for music and are generally interested in the business side of it

-You know quite a lot about different genres and bands

-Might have a degree in music business/management (awesome) or you’re in some sort of business school majoring in marketing or similar

-are able to work on your own, making your own schedules

-are free to work a few days a week (you can choose your hours) at our office or from home/where ever best suits you

-are older than 18

-have some experience in music business. That might mean that you’re a true oldschool player or seeing a lot of gigs, running your own blog, selling your friend-band’s merch etc.

-Maybe live in Helsinki or nearby, or at least could come to Helsinki easily couple of times a week

-Speak and use English almost like your mothers tongue. Finnish not required. Knowing Swedish is definitely an advantage since we got some new, highly classified new business ventures down west but not required.

-can do some graphic design and master Photoshop etc. Not required but would be awesome and an advantage.

 

Length: 1-3 months

Note that this internship is unpaid. However, you can find out if you’re eligible for some allowance from your local job recruitment office. Or similar. The point is, with this internship you have an excellent chance to step in to the business with one of the top management offices in Finland. After the internship period you might score big time and get to be permanent member of our family (we’ll throw in a few hundred of Fresh Tunes stocks for starters). Naturally, You will receive a reference letter of the time you spent with us.

During the internship time, you’ll get free coffee, get to see tons of gigs for free, learn a lot from the business and get to see superstars, naturally. We hook you up with new music and sweet contacts from the industry.

You’d be mainly working with HeavyWeight DJs, Wedding Crashers and some of the clients we have on our label side.
